Holy Grail products for 2019

Hi guys! What’s this…another blog post in January?!

For Christmas last year I received a good few skincare and beauty products but there have been some that have absolutely changed the game for me in terms of my skin. My skin is always so unpredictable and I never know what I’m going to see when I wake up. I’m still trying to work out why I break out (Stress? Cheese? Lack of sleep?) but these products have helped my face become a little bit more normal and under control. And of course it’s only fair I share them with you!

Presenting…my “Holy Grail” products:

Foreo Mini

After lusting after this little facial gadget online for aaaages, I actually couldn’t believe it when I saw it in TK Maxx (bae) for less than half the price! I took about half an hour deciding which colour and after quickly reading some more reviews whilst I waiting in the queue (I’m a very thorough buyer), I decided to purchase. Even though the tiny machine was still £50 – and I think my boyfriend nearly dropped down dead when I told him – it really has made my skin brighter and less clogged up. It’s also really fun to use as it vibrates and tells you when to move onto a different area of your face, which I feel is Very Clever. I’m aware there has been another version released since this one, intelligently named the Foreo Mini 2, but I don’t think there’s that much difference in them…so I’m not bitter.

Pixi x Caroline Hirons Double Cleanse

First of all, if you haven’t heard of Caroline Hirons aka Skincare Guru before then get out from under your rock and go visit her blog. Secondly, who doesn’t love this product?! I bought it at theM&S Beauty Event I was invited to (still a pinch-me moment) and I’ve loved it ever since. It’s so luxurious to use and I love the way the oil literally melts into your skin. Perfect for destressing after a hard day AND you know you’re feeding your skin all the best ingredients so it’s a win-win.

Omorovicza Queen of Hungary Mist

So I received this mist in my Jamie Genevieve Beauty Box for Christmas (thanks Ben!!) and at first, I was a bit sceptical…like what even is a mist and what does it do to your face? I WAS WRONG. It was literally love at first spritz. I can’t even describe the way the mist comes out, it’s similar to Mac Fix+ but not quite…the spray is more concentrated together if that makes any sense? It feels so refreshing on your skin and has so many uses, from setting makeup to simply hydrating your face throughout the day. I use it all the time AND the fact it’s in a frosted glass bottle makes it feel even more luxurious. I know you know what I mean!

Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse Dry Oil

This was another product I got for Christmas and you guessed it, it’s amazing. I love products that are multipurpose and the fact that you can use this oil on your body, hair AND face really appeals to me. It smells gorgeous and melts straight into your skin – a little goes a long way. It’s also the only product I’ve ever used that has really improved my stretch marks and faded them quite a lot – this is amazing as I am so conscious of these! I love using it on my face too alongside a moisturiser as it works really well as a base for makeup but isn’t too heavy that it makes me break out. I’m yet to use it on my hair but I’ve read really good reviews (I love a review) saying it’s good as a hair mask so I shall be trying that ASAP. All in all a great oil and will be purchasing them for years to come!

So that’s it! I hope you enjoyed reading and please do share the products you’re loving this year! I love trying new things and expanding my skincare collection so let me know!
